FAQ

1. Shipping & Delivery

We understand that when it comes to post-operative recovery, every day counts. Our logistics are optimized to ensure your pet receives the necessary protection as quickly as possible to prevent complications during the healing process.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Our standard shipping time is 3 to 5 business days for most locations within the United States. We process orders within 24 hours to ensure the fastest possible dispatch.

Where are your products shipped from?

All orders are shipped directly from our USA-based fulfillment centers. This allows us to maintain strict quality control and provide reliable tracking information from the moment the package leaves our warehouse.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

Yes. If your pet's surgery is scheduled soon or if you need an immediate replacement, we offer Priority Shipping options at checkout. Please select the expedited service to prioritize your delivery.

2. Sizing & Fitment

A proper fit is essential for both comfort and medical efficacy. A suit that is too loose may allow the pet to reach the incision, while one that is too tight can cause irritation or restrict blood flow.

How do I measure my pet for a recovery suit?

To ensure the perfect fit, please follow these two primary measurements:

  • Back Length: Measure from the base of the neck (where the collar sits) to the base of the tail.
  • Chest Girth: Measure the widest part of the chest, usually right behind the front legs.

Note: Always keep the measuring tape snug but not tight.

What should I do if my pet is between sizes?

If your pet's measurements fall between two sizes, we generally recommend choosing the larger size for pets with thicker fur or a broader build. However, if the fabric requires a snug fit to hold a bandage in place, the smaller size may be preferable. Please refer to our specific product weight recommendations as a secondary guide.

Can my pet still use the bathroom while wearing the suit?

Yes. Our recovery suits are designed with a professional roll-up system. For most models, you can easily undo the rear fasteners and roll the fabric toward the chest, securing it with the integrated straps. This allows your pet to eliminate without needing to remove the entire suit.

3. Materials & Hygiene

Post-surgical sites require a clean, dry, and aerated environment to prevent bacterial growth and promote tissue regeneration.

What materials are used in your recovery products?

We use high-quality, breathable, hypoallergenic, and moisture-wicking fabrics. Our blend of cotton and elastane provides a four-way stretch that allows full mobility while keeping the wound site dry and protected from environmental contaminants.

Are the products machine washable?

Absolutely. We recommend washing the suit in cold water on a gentle cycle. To maintain the integrity of the fabric and prevent shrinkage, it is best to air dry the garment. Avoid using bleach or harsh fabric softeners that could irritate your pet's sensitive skin.

Why is it recommended to have a spare suit?

Hygiene is critical during the first 7–14 days of recovery. We strongly suggest having two suits on hand. This ensures your pet remains protected in a clean garment while the other is being laundered, preventing any "unprotected" time where the pet might lick or bite the sutures.

Do you sell antiseptic soaps or medicinal ointments?

No. We specialize exclusively in high-quality physical recovery aids (suits, collars, and accessories). All medicinal treatments, including soaps and ointments, should be prescribed and provided by your licensed veterinarian.

4. Safety & Veterinary Guidance

Our products are designed to supplement professional veterinary care and provide a more humane alternative to traditional recovery methods.

Can this replace the traditional "Cone of Shame" (E-Collar)?

In many cases, yes. Our recovery suits provide a physical barrier that prevents pets from licking, scratching, or biting their incisions. Unlike the E-Collar, our suits reduce stress, allow for normal peripheral vision, and do not interfere with eating or sleeping. However, for very aggressive chewers, your vet may recommend using both for the first 48 hours.

Should I consult my veterinarian before use?

While our products are designed based on veterinary standards, we always recommend consulting your vet to ensure the suit is appropriate for your pet's specific type of surgery and incision location.

Is the material bite-resistant?

Our fabrics are durable and designed to withstand normal wear. However, no fabric is completely indestructible against a determined pet. We recommend supervising your pet during the first few hours of wear to ensure they are not attempting to chew through the material.

5. Returns & Exchanges

Important Notice: Due to the medical nature of our products and the risk of cross-contamination, we maintain a strict hygiene policy.

What is your return policy?

We accept returns and exchanges only for items that are unopened, unworn, and in their original packaging. Once a garment has been tried on a pet, it is considered a biohazard risk (due to fur, dander, or potential wound discharge) and cannot be resold.

What if the product is defective?

If you receive a product with a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue. We will expedite a replacement at no additional cost to you to ensure your pet's recovery is not interrupted.
